Tips For Planning A Surprise Baby Shower

Are you planning to come up with a surprise baby shower for your expectant daughter, sister, or friend? Then you definitely need to prepare yourself for the surprise baby shower planning for it will be a real challenge. Don't worry, though, because we a little help and guidance, you'd be able to come up with a remarkable celebration that your dearest mom-to-be will truly appreciate.

Before you begin with the actual baby shower planning, it's best that you first try to understand what this event is really for. This is because for the countless times that people have celebrated baby showers, they have integrated a lot of new things into it that somehow made it lose its essence. These days, most people just think that a baby shower is an event for giving gifts to the mom-to-be. Although in a way it truly is, a baby shower is still meant to be a solemn and inspirational event.

This means that it's the time for uplifting and encouraging the expectant woman into the motherhood role she'll soon be facing. However, in this time and age, you can do away with a peaceful celebration but you still need to keep things balanced. This way, the event will become true to its essence but still fun as the guest would definitely be expecting.

Below are two major points that you must keep in mind when doing the surprise baby shower planning:

Get help. Since the baby shower will be a surprise, you simply can't approach the mom-to-be for her thoughts about it. This is the main challenge because most of the time these days, baby shower organizers still consult with moms-to-be. However, in your case, you can just approach her closest friends, her family or relatives, and her husband. These people are most likely to know what the mom-to-be would want and not. They can also help you in creating the guest list so that everyone that is dear to the mom-to-be will be there for the surprise.

Lay low. You don't want to raise a red flag for the mom-to-be so keep the surprise baby shower planning confidential as much as possible. You would have to do some consultations with the people she's closest to and since they're around her, it's likely that she'll notice something off when you do it as if you're gossiping or talking behind her back. This may also upset her greatly which could lead to development of adverse feelings towards you and the others so be careful. You may communicate through cellphones or e-mails, just don't do it too much that it looks too suspicious. She would notice this especially if you're communicating with her husband which would really be awkward from her point of view. To avoid such events, try doing the planning out of her sight and contact your accomplices when she's not around. Also try coming up with a schedule when all of you could get together and plan altogether with nothing to worry about.
